This page explains how to delete your Walk Up Song App account (published by Shane Heyworth), or only some of the data in it, on iPhone or Android.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Walk Up Song App.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. The account and everything it owns are deleted straight away.
This works for guest accounts too, including one you never added an email to.
2. Or ask us by email
If you no longer have the app, email hello@walkupsongapp.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
3. What is deleted
Your account and every team you own, with its players, lineups, songs, clips, voice recordings and images, including the files in storage. Teams you joined as a coach stay with their owner.
4. What is kept, and for how long
- Deleted data leaves our backups within 30 days.
- Server logs are kept for a short period for security, then deleted.
- Records of purchases may be kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, and by us where needed for accounting, tax or disputes.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.
5. Delete some data, keep the account
You can delete things one at a time in the app, and the files go with them: a player, a song, a voice recording, or a whole team. Open the item and choose Delete. To have anything else removed, email hello@walkupsongapp.com.
